One of my Fan getaways has a late night special that hits the spot. I don’t go often enough to keep them in business, so I won’t keep it to myself any longer:

The White Dog on W. Main.
$5 apps every night for the last hour (or two?) that the kitchen is open.
(try the catfish fingers)

I don’t think they have regular drink specials, but the dimly lit English basement is pretty special in itself (a small stage for big eccentric personalities).

i used to work at Julep’s as hostess.
I applied there mostly to get a sweet discount on the amazing food. That place, despite its outer appearance isnt all frilly and lace, its actual a great spot to go out and have a good meal, better wine, and a good time. Plus all the staff are great people.
loves me some New Southern Cuisine.

and my boyfriend works at 821 and as long as they keep pushing out that all day happy hour and those huge fricken nachoes. i think im going to make him my husband.

good choices.
