		<description>Without looking at it, and therefore at the risk of sounding totally stupid, I would suspect you could stop the pipes from freezing by stopping air cold going directly into your crawl space.  Seal up any and all crawl vents.

Also, if you&#039;re handy, you could wire up a simple exhaust fan in one crawl vent, seal all others, and you would be pulling warm air down through your old wood floors into the space---shouldn&#039;t be enough to send your heat bill to the moon, just enough to stay above freezing down there.</description>
