All good news. With Pie, Aurora, and the new Six Burner incarnation all in the works on Grace as well as a Cuban restaurant still brewing near 2nd St, the potential for this section of Grace is starting to show. The new Hilton and the PAC should provide a customer base for these and other businesses.
Now if we can just get the John Marshall rebuilt before it collapses.

Shahi Kitchen is pretty good. It’s the best I’ve had in Richmond, anyway. One big strike against them: they charge extra for rice. How on earth am I supposed to eat chana masala without rice?

I’ve only seen the sign in the front while driving by. It’s right across the street from the Papa Johns at Main & Morris (and a few doors down from Uptown Color)

I haven’t heard anything about that. Where did you hear about it? I used to live in Vancouver near the Punjabi market and got spoiled by excellent and cheap Indian food.

There’s actually another new Indian restaurant going up at W. Main & Morris (it’s not on Style’s Short Order list, which may be indicative of something…). I can’t wait to check it out when it opens though. Heard anything about it?
